What is TenX?

TenX token is looking to show the world that integration of digital assets in real life is absolutely possible and even easier and practical than the well-known fiat currencies. TenX offers a crypto-debit card and special crypto wallet, making purchases with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash or any ERC20 possible, just like that. On top of that, the total supply is 205,000,000 TenX tokens and it supports web apps, Android, and IOS.

Advantages

TenX aims to spread the decentralized financial services of theirs and make them possible in daily situations.

  • Practical integration of digital assets
  • Active customer support
  • Supporting multiple coins and altcoins in one card/wallet

Disadvantages

At this point, unfortunately, there’s no working connection between TenX and Visa.

  • Scalability issues
  • App security flaws
  • Uncertain VISA card partnership

History and Evolution

The founder Toby Hoenisch was not a believer in the future of cryptocurrencies or at least that was his opinion at the very beginning in 2015. His first project related to this subject was OneBit (2016-2017) which received legal support from the TenXPal Fintech start-up incubator in Singapore. OneBit was similar to TenX but it supported only Bitcoin and because of that, it never reached the publicity needed to launch. Together with Michael Sperk, Toby Hoenisch and the team behind the TenX token, they earned the trust of many leaders in the industry like TenXpal, DBS Blockchain and City mobile Challenge.

Officially the ICO campaign started on June 24th, 2017, it was more than successful because the collected amount exceeded the targeted sum of 200.000 ETH and collected 245,832 ETH ($83 million), all of that for 7 minutes. You are not mistaken, there’s no typing mistake, the success was obvious and because of it, the listing of TenX token on Bittrex exchange was a fact only 2 weeks after, on the 7th of July 2017.

TenX’s Future

TenX is expanding constantly and at the moment, they are looking to establish a long-term partnership with the Litecoin Foundation to develop co-branded cards. They aim to make any digital asset easily spendable in a perfectly decentralized system available to anyone, anywhere and for any reason.

TenX Blockchain

TenX token is operating on the Ethereum blockchain but the true purpose is to connect all blockchains, leveraging on the COMIT network, COMIT Routing protocol, and Cross-chain TenXments channels, providing one low-cost market to the public. Up to this date, there’s no further information about any future plans to move on separate personal blockchain but the increasing number of digital assets is priority number one.

How to get TenX at Exchanges

The TenX token is already around a year on the market, available to exchange in several platforms such as Huobi, Bittrex or OKex. But the trading pairs are only crypto-to-crypto, you will need to obtain Bitcoin or Ethereum first and then you can easily acquire your first TenX coins. Taking under consideration the last significant price changes earlier this year in July when its value grew with 69% over a day and the constant expansion of the trading volumes, I find TenX cryptocurrency as a good investing opportunity.

Wallets for TenX

For the TenX coin was developed their own wallet, capable of sending, receiving or storing digital currencies which you can spend with your TenX physical card. The wallet is available only for mobile devices on Android and iOS, available in the according app stores.

There is no need to download the blockchain or to back up your wallet since it is a mobile version (light node), but there is a minimum system requirement regarding the updates of your mobile software, whether Android v4.1 or IOS v9.0 or above. The listed digital assets are many, in between all ERC-20 token, the expectations are that the number will only increase in the next following years.

Alternative Wallets

Speaking of tokens relates to Ethereum network, which means that in any case, you can always pick a wallet supporting ERC-20 standard. The variety is huge, you can choose between desktop, mobile, web options or even hardware (cold) wallets without any internet access, if you want to play safe, of course.
